MoBill Budget and Reminder

Budget

Budget is a Premium Subscription feature and it is enabled automatically.

In MoBill you can enter your budget against expense categories. MoBill automatically calculates the actuals from the transactions using their categories and shows on the budget page, period totals screen and on the budget reports. Budget works against the period and tightly linked to the period settings. Thus, if you change any of the Period Settings Period Length, First Day of Month, Two Week Period Reference Date or Half-Month Split Day, any budget generated with the old settings may disappear but will NOT be deleted from the database. Before start using Budget please make sure you have Period Settings setup correctly as otherwise you will have to enter your budget again for the new settings.

You can enter the budget values on the Budget page of the main screen. Before entering the budget values you need to either create an empty budget, which all the budget amounts will be zero, or copy previous period budget which copies the budget values from the previous period budget. To enter a budget for a category simply tap the amount and enter the budget amount then the screen will refresh the entered amount.

You can report your budget with Budget/Actual Reports on Reports.
